A Note Before We Begin

This is a sample post, sitting here so you can see what your writing will look like once it is on the page. When you are ready to publish something real, this one can go in the bin and no one will ever know it existed.

Headings look like this

Body text is set in a size meant for comfortable reading on a phone, because that is where most people will find you. Paragraphs get room to breathe. Links, like this one to the about page, show up in warm amber.

When you want to set a verse apart from the rest of the writing, it can look like this:

Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path. Psalm 119:105

Lists work too, for the times you find yourself counting things off:

  • One thing you noticed this week
  • One thing that made you laugh
  • One thing God would not let you put down

Photos

A picture can go anywhere in the post. Drop the file in assets/img/posts/ and point at it, and it will be sized to fit on its own.

That is the whole tour. Write like you are talking to one person, which is how you have always written, and the page will take care of the rest.

Want to talk about it?

If any of this sounds like the season you are in, I would be glad to sit with you in it.
