Speaking & teaching

Stories that land, truth that stays

Retreats, women's events, and Sunday mornings, with Scripture at the center and room to laugh.

I speak the way I write. Real stories from an ordinary life, held up against what God actually says, with nothing dressed up to look more spiritual than it was.

My aim is never to give a room a nice hour. It is to send people home with one truth they can hold onto for the days and weeks ahead. If you want a speaker who will be honest about the hard parts and still leave people hopeful, we will probably get along well.

Topics

What I speak on

Each of these can be a single message or shaped into a retreat weekend.

Beauty from the ashes

What God does with the seasons we would never have chosen, and why the hard chapter is rarely the last one.

Waiting on God without losing your mind

Waiting is not passive and it is not wasted. What it actually asks of us, and what it grows in us while nothing appears to be happening.

Finding God in the ordinary middle

Grocery lines, laundry piles, and the surprising places God tends to speak when we are too busy to notice.

Every week

Where I teach

Most weeks you will find me involved with and leading community groups at Revere Church and helping lead MomCo, our community for moms in the thick of raising little ones.

Before that I taught regularly at The Well at Whittier Area Community Church (2013–2017) and with Influence Church's women's ministry Bible studies (2017–2019).

Planning an event

What I will need from you

Send me a note with whatever you know so far. Do not worry about having every detail settled; even a rough sketch is enough for us to start talking.

  • The date, or the range of dates you are considering
  • Where the event is and roughly how many people you expect
  • Who is in the room, and what they are walking through as a group
  • How long you want me to speak, and how many sessions
  • What you are hoping people leave with
